さて、基礎演習も後期の前半が終わったわけですが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。だれが。
はて、webサーバーの基礎、ですが、ちょっとこのクールは、どっちもどっちだなぁと。
Y野さんはY野さんで、前期のやりかたでみんながみんな同じプログラムを授業中に作成してたっていう反省を活かして、今回は、最終版に必要な部品を一つ一つ丁寧に解説して、それをくっつければ出来るでしょ？スタイル。
確かに、このやり方ならまったくもってみんながみんな同じようなプログラムになってしまうようなことはさけられたのかも知れないですが、ちょっと２年生のこの時期、あの全ての部品を組み合わせてプログラムする能力は全員は持ってないです。プロ技２とかに挑むレベルの子たちならいけるきもするんだけど、ここまでの授業でこれほど高度なものは初めてのはず。
ただ、教わる方も教わる方で、そっちにも明らかに問題がある。
一度やったこと、覚えてられないことをノートにとる、という文化が彼らにはないみたい。最終的にそこそこのページを完成させた子ですら、授業一回目にやった設定を最終回にもう一度教えてあげないといけなかったのはそれなりにショックです。
まぁ、一回目から最後まで使うことはなかったんだけど、それでも、必要なことは紙でも”メモ帳”でもいいからさ、書いておこうよぅ。さすがに普段穏便なうちでも、正直いっぱいいっぱいでした。
なんていうか、あとから見直せばそれで済む、それまでのメディア学部の授業な中で暮らしてきて、webサーバーの基礎というとこで、はじめて、自分で考えて、必要なことを自分で記録するっていう体験に付き合ってる感じ。たしかに、あのままコア演習、卒研、なんてとうていやってけないよ？まして、それで大学院に来てください、いえ、たぶん無理じゃないかな、いまの環境じゃ。
っていうかそんなかんじでした。正しい日本語使えって？いいじゃん国語の授業じゃないんだし。
